The three Wayans brothers will also co-produce the film alongside Rick Alvarez. This sixth installment in the franchise is set to begin filming next year, with a theatrical release planned. Paramount Pictures will manage global distribution, leveraging its first-look deal with producer Miramax, which distributed the franchise’s first three titles.
